MAT EISENSTEIN is a New York City based Music Director/Pianist/Composer/Arranger/Vocal Coach.

Currently, he is the Assistant Conductor/Keyboard 2 of the Broadway company of FROZEN.

Most recently, he was the Associate Conductor/Keyboard 2 player of the Broadway company of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, the Associate Conductor/Keyboard 1 of the Broadway company of SOMETHING ROTTEN and the Assistant Conductor/Keyboard 1 player of the Broadway company of Disney's NEWSIES.

Mat has conducted the Broadway companies of Frozen, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Something Rotten, Newsies, The Book of Mormon, Elf, Promises, Promises, Next to Normal, Bye Bye Birdie, Thirteen, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Fiddler On The Roof, Avenue Q, 42nd Street, and Les Miserables.

He has played keyboards in over 40 Broadway productions including: Frozen, 9 to 5, Aida, Annie, The Apple Tree, Bombay Dreams, The Book of Mormon, Candide, A Class Act, Dracula, Follies, Fosse, Hairspray, The Grinch, Legally Blonde, The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, Matilda, On The Town, Once Upon a Mattress, The People in the Picture, Ragtime, Shrek, Sister Act, Spiderman, Titanic, The Wedding Singer, The Woman in White, Wicked, Wonderland and The Radio City Xmas Spectacular.

Mat has performed/recorded with the New Jersey Symphony, Tovah Feldshuh, David Hyde Pierce, Bernadette Peters, Lou Diamond Phillips, Peter Yarrow, Malcolm Gets, Raul Esparza, Brian D'Arcy James, Laura Benanti, Laura Osnes, Constantine Maroulis, Nellie McKay, Telly Leung, Katie Finneran, Beth Leavel, Carolee Carmello, Karen Mason, Will Chase, Josh Young, Laura Michelle Kelly, Betsy Wolfe, Kara Lindsay, Corey Cott, Adam Kaplan, Clark Thorell, Montego Glover, Max Von Essen, Farah Alvin, Jose Llana, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Gary Mauer, Jenn Collela, Sarah Uriarte Berry, Kate Shindle, Alli Mauzey, Desi Oakley, Bobby Creighton, and Jessica Grove on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, City Center, Town Hall, NJPAC, Joe's Pub, 54 Below, and more. He has also appeared live on the Today Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He can be heard on the Original Broadway Cast recordings of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Something Rotten, Disney's Newsies, Elf, Promises Promises 2010 Revival, Kitty's Kisses, Midlife (The Crisis Musical), Woken Up (Carey Anderson) and Love on a Sunday Afternoon (Songs of Sam Davis).

He studied piano and composition at the Eastman School and Queens College.
